Dear fantastic supporters,
As we wrap up yet another election season, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your incredible support, kind words, and extraordinary patience as we’ve been out there knocking on doors with our campaign info. You’re all simply amazing!
You may have noticed that we’ve turned your mailboxes into a treasure trove of campaign materials, and I appreciate your willingness to dive into that stack. I know, it’s like diving into a mystery novel series, but your interest is genuinely appreciated.
To those who graciously allowed us to plant yard signs in their lawns, you’ve turned your homes into campaign HQs, and I can’t thank you enough. And for those of you who flashed us a friendly smile and a reassuring “you have our support,” you’re like our secret sauce—full of flavor and spirit.
Now, I get it, life happens, and not everyone was home or available to answer the door when we came knocking. So, in those cases, we left our campaign information hanging on your doorknob, like a little surprise gift from a friendly neighbor.
Let’s address the elephant in the room, or should I say, the yard? Yes, there are countless campaign signs everywhere, and it can sometimes feel like a visual competition. But remember, these signs are like shiny, attention-grabbing sprinkles on a delicious political cake. The real treat is the connection we’ve made with all of you.
Now, as we approach the finish line, let’s talk turkey (or should I say, eagle). The most important thing about a campaign is getting out the vote. Voting is the grand finale, the cherry on top, the mic drop of the election process. So, I’m here to humbly ask you for one more thing: your VOTE! It’s the magic ingredient that makes all the cards, flyers, and signs truly matter. Remember, you’re the director of this election blockbuster, and your vote is the star!
Please make sure to cast your ballot on Tuesday, Election Day. It’s your time to shine, and we appreciate your enduring spirit throughout this election season.
Rest assured; our campaign signs will be like Cinderella’s carriage—gone within a couple of days after the election. And once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support. I can’t wait to work with all of you and keep that Merrillville Momentum rolling!
With sincere appreciation and a dash of fun, Rick Bella, Town Council President, and YOUR Ward 5 Representative
