Designs are being reviewed and edited so the town can build our first ever dog park in Merrillville. The park, which will be located just north of 73rd Avenue on Broadway next to the existing walking/bike trail will host large dogs & small dogs with two separate areas. Seating for dog owners, trees, walking paths and dog play fixtures will be installed for our furry friends. The dog park will be named ‘Pawsville’ and we hope to have it opened this Spring or at the start of summer. See the preliminary designs pictured below.
