Thank you for the support.

The Primary Election is now in the books. Thank you to all that came out on a, not so nice day, to exercise your right to vote. I realize that the only contested race was for the Clerk-Treasurer’s position. Judge Gina Jones (for Town Court Judge) and myself were unopposed. Now the work really begins, and I look forward to meeting you this summer out in the neighborhoods of Ward 5.

I’d like to congratulate Kelly White Gibson on her victory for the Clerk-Treasurer’s nomination as well as thank Chrissy Barron and Andrew Sylwestrowicz for also running for the Clerk-Treasurer’s position making for a great contested race.

I realize that technically, I only needed one vote to be declared the Council nominee, and my wife Jodi said she voted for me, but I thank you all for selecting my name during your voting process showing your support.

Let’s work together keeping Merrillville moving forward! I will always be available to you for your ideas, feedback, and suggestions. We should also thank Chrissy Barron for her service on the Town Council and not forget that she has 7 months to go in her current term serving Ward 5 and needs our support. I will be working with Chrissy for a smooth and seamless transition come 2020.
