Looks like I’ll be unopposed this spring in the May 7th Primary Election. The deadline for filing for office was Friday, February 8 at noon. I am looking forward to serving all of you and the great town of Merrillville. Please save the date (May 7th) as there will still be a Primary election so Democrats can select our nominee for the Clerk-Treasurers office since current Clerk-Treasurer Eugene Guernsey has decided to retire and not seek re-election. – Rick Bella
